the first.

so, don't ask why i chose to change my blog. just decided to.
then i also decided that i LIKED my layout and couldnt be bothered to change it all, so i kept it and well, everything looks the same except my URL, of course.

anyhow, i meant to blog about band concert, funfair prep, funfair, lee pei ming concert, co concert, youth day, general random stuff, and halfday today which ended up not being half, but im really entirely too lazy right now, so!

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT TO WHOEVER VISITS THIS BLOG
(although that amounts to a scant few individuals)
if you have children-youth's old clothings, shoes, books, games, textbooks, toys you dont want anymore, PLEASE GIVE THEM TO ME! or if you're from school, put them in the regional cip boxes near the audi, near the rock wall, and the humans department. if you're NOT from school and its inconvenient, i can pick em up for you from your place or something. sometime.

meanwhile, congratulations to mellissa (yeo) & shimin for getting into exco! with posts of secretary & BM respectively. shall get flowers for them. talking of flowers, im really horrid @ buying flowers for people, because i use my preference to choose, which means people end up with bunches of white flowers and ym said it looks like im going to a funeral. but i really think white flowers are gorgeous, especially orchids.

mum is pissed at me, for quite a good reason. well basically after dinner i said that i'm going to slack today & she sort of glared disapprovingly & said, well havent you been slacking the entire week already? & that got me really pissed off because i've been working my guts out, so i burst out with a rather erm. disrespectful retort & so we're now having a cold war. sigh.

need to work on my temper.

but seriously, my mum recovers after a good night's sleep.

and i refuse to watch the world cup finals! wimbledon is so much more interesting. =) the only sad thing is that ancic got slaughtered by federer, hewitt by some random person who's ranked a lot lower than him, dementieva & vaidisova are out, myskina got beaten by mauresmo AGAIN, so that means all my fave players are gone also. sigh. but i rather like federer and nadal.

passed by peps on wednesday on the way to jurong east library. realised i really miss peps band, everybody in it, the band room, the conductors, our instructor. i loved being in perc, we had the best seniors & of course we got scolded a lot but we still rocked. our CD is so much <3! color="#3333ff">lord of the dance is officially the best perc ensemble i've ever heard & i still harth american folk fantasia, warabe-uta fantasy, katak lompat, carnival de paris, etc. its probably nothing compared to persis or phantom or gelato or glenn miller or ride, but naturally i felt so much more a part of it (duh). and its just beautiful. =)

the only thing i felt proud of today was the fact that i advanced four bars in la cathedrale engloutie. haha hardly a wonderful accomplishment but being me i get pleased with the smallest random details. if i jiayou more i might be able to learn it by the time miss foo goes off and i'll really miss her kuz shes a rawkass piano/theory teacher. the rest of the day i've just felt incredibly shibai. especially when sam & shimin wanted to hear me & the sec 1s play which was disastrous.

i've talked a lot of crap. so hm, shall go off now and practice the chords charissa gave me. and listen to the kryptonite riff solo which looks incredibly complicated unless its played at like adagio pace or something. haha talking of which, saw "spring, summer, fall, winter ... and spring again" selling at HMV for $7.95! haha shall tell the class and someone will buy it and screen it, i'd bet.
